Who you are buying from.

Scrapejig is made and sold by its developer, trading as Scrapejig, in England. For anything on this page, including refunds, write to support@scrapejig.com. Payment is taken by Stripe, and their receipt is your proof of purchase.

What a Pro licence is.

One payment, £29 at the introductory price, for a licence that does not expire, renew or count seats. It unlocks one thing in the extension: Export Python, which writes the generated Playwright script to a file you keep. Picking fields, the live preview and Copy CSV are free with or without it, and stay free.

A licence is for one person. It works on up to three machines at once. Sign in on a fourth and the machine you used least recently drops off the licence, quietly, so a replaced laptop never locks you out. If you genuinely need more than three at a time, ask.

The scripts you export are yours. They are plain Python that imports Playwright and nothing of ours, no licence terms attach to them, and you may edit, run, copy and share them as you like. Nothing in these terms reaches into a file on your machine.

Delivery.

The key is emailed to the address you give at checkout, immediately after payment, and you type it into the extension's side panel. If it has not arrived within an hour, check the spam folder, then use the panel's resend option or write to support.

A licence needs Python 3 and Playwright on your machine to be useful, because the thing it unlocks is a Python file. That is said on the homepage before the price, and it is repeated here so that nobody buys without knowing it.

Fourteen days, no questions.

If you change your mind within fourteen days of buying, for any reason or none, email support with the address you bought under. The payment is refunded to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and the key is revoked. There is no form and nothing to justify.

This is wider than the fourteen-day cancellation right the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you, because we do not ask you to waive that right in exchange for immediate delivery. Your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for digital content that is not as described or does not work, are unaffected by anything here.

What revoking a key does, and does not do.

A key is revoked when a payment is refunded, when a card issuer reverses a payment, or by hand if a key is being shared well beyond three machines. A revoked key stops validating the next time the extension checks it, which happens when you open the side panel and at most once every thirty days, so Export Python stops working in the extension.

It cannot touch anything you have already exported. A script is a file on your machine; revoking a key cannot reach it, and we would not want it to. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight.

Prices.

£29 is the introductory price. It will rise once the launch period ends. A rise never affects a licence already bought, because there is nothing to renew. Prices are shown in pounds sterling; the page may show an approximate local equivalent, and Stripe charges the pound amount.

What is not promised.

Websites change, and a script that worked on Monday may need a selector edited on Friday. The extension is built to make that edit easy, not to make it unnecessary. Whether scraping a particular site is permitted, by its terms, by robots.txt or by law where you are, is your responsibility, and the exported script runs under your name from your machine.

Beyond your statutory rights, liability for anything arising from the licence is limited to the price you paid. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

Law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may bring a claim in your own nation's courts, and if you are a consumer outside the United Kingdom you keep any protection your local law makes mandatory.

Changes to these terms.

The date at the top is the date of the version you are reading. A change applies to purchases made after it, never to a licence already bought.
